Complete Human Vitamin and Mineral Complex
What This Is
A daily vitamin and mineral complex, intended as a baseline rather than a highlight. The least exciting product on this site and probably the one most people should own.
The case for a multivitamin is not that it does something dramatic. It is that most people eat a narrower range of food than they think, and a broad low dose complex closes small gaps cheaply. Nothing about that is thrilling, which is precisely why it gets skipped in favour of products with better names.
If you are spending money on this catalogue and you are not covering the basics, you have the order wrong.
Product Specifications
- Format: Capsules or tablets as supplied
- Use: Once daily
- Category: Daily foundations
- Status: Food supplement
How To Use It
Take the serving on the label once daily with food and a full glass of water. With food matters more here than with most things, because the fat soluble vitamins need something to be absorbed with.
- Take it with your largest meal of the day, not on an empty stomach.
- Pick a fixed point in the day. A multivitamin only works if you actually take it.
- If it makes you feel queasy, you took it without enough food. That is almost always the reason.
- Bright yellow urine afterwards is riboflavin doing exactly what riboflavin does. It is not a problem.
- Do not take it alongside a second multivitamin or a high dose single nutrient without checking the totals. Some minerals have real upper limits.
Who Should Leave It Alone
- Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, who should use a product formulated for that instead.
- Anyone under 18.
- Anyone already taking a separate high dose iron, zinc, selenium or vitamin A product, without adding up the totals.
- Anyone with haemochromatosis or another iron storage condition.
- Anyone on prescription medication where interactions are a concern, without asking a pharmacist.
What It Will Not Do
It will not compensate for a poor diet. A multivitamin closes small gaps in an otherwise reasonable intake. It does not replace vegetables, protein or sleep, and nobody has ever fixed a bad month with a tablet.
Storage
- Keep the container closed, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight.
- Do not store it in the car, in a gym bag or on a sunny windowsill.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use beyond the expiry date printed on the container.
Label and Ingredients
The full ingredient list and serving size are printed on the bottle. Read it before your first serving, and read it again if you are taking anything else. If you want the label photographed before you order, message us and we will send it.
