The classifications we use
- Supplement, a complementary medicine or food supplement intended for human consumption, subject to South African labelling and claims requirements.
- General wellness product, a product intended for general wellbeing that makes no therapeutic claim.
- Research use only, supplied strictly for laboratory research. Not a medicine, not approved for human or veterinary use, and must not be consumed or administered.
- Restricted, additional eligibility conditions apply, stated on the listing.
- Prescription only, may only be supplied against a valid prescription.
Acknowledgements
Where a product’s classification requires it, you will be asked to acknowledge the stated limitation before your order can be placed. That acknowledgement is recorded against your order.
